I bought one a few years ago to do some precision routing. Doesn't do it that well. A real router does it much better. This really is for cutting quick holes in drywall. It's great at that. Anyway, haven't found much of a user for it.

Hmm... It seems like it would be hard to be accurate when routing with this...

I was thinking about getting one because i can get a crazy discount, because my employer owns rotozip. Let me know what kind of jobs you find for it to do!

Agreed on sheetrock being about the hardest material it will work on. I tried cutting thin tile with it and it walked and chattered and split it too badly.

I have one of the first ones when it first came out. I even bought several different bits. They all cut sheetrock well. They do not do much else very well. If you have a guide clamped, they can cut wood fairly smooth with a wood bit.

If you work it against it's own 'flow', you'll have a bad day. It's best to let it cut in the direction it wants to and merely hold it back/steer it that way.

Haha, I don't really cut sheet rock all that much/never. Maybe in the future some time, I do wood working from time to time though.

I bought a weed whacker on the same day to cut my hair.

I have the 90 degree attachment for mine, which fits all manner of cutting wheels. http://www.rotozip.com/en-us/pages/ca…

Came in handy cutting open shocks for Koni inserts, dismantling exhaust parts, etc.
